Randstad is proud to be partnering with a prominent State Government Department to recruit an AO3 Processing Officer. Based in the premier Brisbane CBD precinct, this role is critical to the delivery of frontline housing support services.
The contract is currently approved for 3 months with a high likelihood of extension. This is a sophisticated administrative role perfect for a professional looking to apply their legislative assessment skills within a supportive, high-performing environment.
As a Processing Officer, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting detailed reviews of rental security subsidy applications against strict eligibility criteria.
Providing comprehensive support to the unit, ensuring all documentation meets departmental standards.
Utilising Content Manager (TRIM) for file sorting, renaming, and complex correspondence management.
Maintaining effective records management systems and managing secure computerized databases with 100% accuracy.
Triage and prioritise high-volume workflows to ensure urgent cases for vulnerable Queenslanders are fast-tracked.
Liaising and negotiating effectively with internal stakeholders and departmental staff regarding application outcomes.
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate "Government-ready" administrative rigour. We are seeking:
Advanced experience using Content Manager (TRIM), SharePoint, and complex Case Management Systems (CMS).
Proven ability to interpret complex written and numerical information and apply it to policy frameworks.
Experience managing confidential information and interacting with vulnerable client cohorts with high emotional intelligence.
The ability to achieve results with minimal supervision in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
An extremely high level of accuracy in data validation and documentation authentication.
$51.12 per hour plus super
